Ramateu Lefty Monyokolo is the Chairperson of Rand Water, having served as a Non-Executive Director for nine years before his appointment as Chairperson in September 2022. He also chairs the Alliance for Water Stewardship Southern Africa (AWSISA), a position he has held since its inception, championing collaborative approaches to sustainable water management. Previously, he was a Non-Executive Director and shareholder of the Johannesburg Water Management Company (JOWAM), where he contributed to guiding Johannesburg Water through its formative years. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on several other company boards, bringing strategic insight and governance expertise to the water and infrastructure sectors.
