Following graduation took up a career in research and consulting, covering initially both pyrometallurgical and various avenues of extractive metallurgy, and subsequently specializing in pyrometallurgy and pyrometallurgical pre-treatment Spanning a period of some 10 years in active research, with two international patents issued for work in these research areas. Subsequently took up a career in industry- subsequently focussed on the ferrochrome smelting and mining industry with direct involvement in mining, production, diverse management roles, projects and business development, locally and abroad.
Currently serving as Specialist Process and Metallurgical Consultant to the Group.
