Saima is an accomplished media professional with over two decades of experience including serving as Presidential Journalist. Saima transitioned from journalism to being a senior Government official serving as Head of the Prime Minister’s Bureau in Namibia. Her commitment to humanitarian efforts led her to WFP Southern Africa Regional Bureau, where she serves as a Senior Advocacy, Strategic Partnership and Engagement Officer, dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the humanitarian field and transforming the livelihood of communities in different countries of Southern Africa. Beyond her professional endeavours, Saima is the founder of the Omkhai Namibia Trust, a non-profit organization aimed at empowering marginalized individuals in Namibia. With a strong belief in the power of collaboration, she invites partners and community members to join in her efforts in creating a better society for all to live in.
