Saad Ul Islam is an Investment Director in the infrastructure equity investments team at British International Investment (BII) with responsibility for leading investments across renewable power, transmission & distribution, and water utility investments in Africa and Pakistan. Saad has 17 years of experience in investing power and infrastructure. Prior to joining BII, Saad worked for HgCapital focusing on investing in renewable energy projects across Europe and he started his career at Citigroup where he advised on infrastructure and energy projects in the EMEA region. Saad has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics.
