I am the Chairperson of NamWater, Namibia’s national water utility, and the Country Manager of Namib Lead and Zinc Mining, a subsidiary of North River Resources. With over thirty years of experience in the water sector, I have a deep understanding of the hydrological, environmental, and social challenges and opportunities that affect our operations and stakeholders.

My core competencies include strategic planning and execution, quality management, project delivery, financial oversight, regulatory compliance, and ethical corporate governance. I am passionate about fulfilling our mission of ensuring access to potable water as a fundamental human right. I work closely with our board, management, staff, and partners to achieve this goal. I am also committed to promoting transparency and accountability in our orgaorganization fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
As the Country Manager of Namib Lead and Zinc Mining, I oversee care and maintenance activities at the mine, ensuring safety, sustainability, and profitability. I leverage my expertise in water management and environmental awareness to optimize resource use and minimize activities’ impact on the surrounding ecosystem.
